About Us

Steve has extensive experience handling all divorce and family law matters, ranging from simple uncontested divorces and separation to complex and contentious divorces. Steve has experienced divorce himself and understands that emotions can be raw, particularly when one party is trying to save the relationship. It has been his experience that when parties to a divorce or family law proceeding feel heard and understood the process is much more productive and less combative. 

Steve also has experience preparing estate documents and handling personal injury matters and business matters. The team at Champion Legal Group will do you right when someone has done you wrong. 

Steve was born and raised in rural Mid-Michigan. Steve began working in high school as an electrician. As an adult, he moved to Arizona and continued working in blue collar jobs. Steve then returned to college and graduated from Arizona State University with his BS degree. At the same time, he started his own business working on political campaigns and zoning issues throughout Arizona. He returned to Arizona State University and earned his MBA. Eventually Steve graduated from law school and started his legal career.

Steve has gained valuable experience in criminal law – in city prosecutor’s office, business law, divorce/family law, estate/probate, and personal injury.

In his free time, Steve spends time with his family and friends, and plays golf. He has been in over half the states, and five countries.
